Have you been given responsibility for developing leadership training?  Are you an expert tasked with training in your area of expertise? Are you involved with onboarding?

You may be an instructional designer and not even know it!

If you have ever wondered what it takes to develop an effective learning program, join us as we discuss the ins and outs, ups and downs, trials and tribulations of instructional design. Whether you’re curious, an amateur, or fell into the training role, this program is for you.

Are you an experienced designer?  If so, we invite you to join us and share your experiences, both good and not so good.

 During this program, we will:

  • Define what is meant by instructional design
  • Identify steps in the instructional design process
  • Define the differences between formative and summative evaluation
  • Describe “Backwards Planning” and its importance
  • Explain why many training initiatives fail
