ABOUT US The South Carolina Chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD), formerly known as the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), offers trusted content, idea sharing and a strong professional community for members and guests working in Learning and Development, Talent Management, Performance Improvement, Organizational Development, and Human Resources. Our membership ranges from independent practitioners to large corporations or small consulting companies and they represent a wide range of businesses, roles and responsibilities. The chapter typically meets on the third Friday of each month virtually and offers excellent programs as well as opportunities for networking. Members who are both local and national members of ATD receive numerous benefits. Local members benefit from free monthly meetings and networking opportunities. | Why did we win? Our chapter achieved CARE for 2023! Second, our chapter submitted a Sharing Our Success (SOS) best practice for “Committing to DEIAB in Chapter Bylaws.” The Chapter Recognition Committee was impressed with this submission because chapters are always looking for ways to bring DE&I into chapter operations. |

As the 2023 winner of this esteemed award, ATD recognized the South Carolina Chapter for demonstrating the best effort among chapters in 2022 in making a significant impact in our community. |
