The Yin and Yang of Change

Are you change-ready?

Are you able to lead others through a change journey?

As we discuss change and its transitions, members and guests will:
  • Explore the two sides of change.

  • Understand the choices and consequences of change.

  • Identify key leadership skills for leading transformational change.

Regardless if we are going through a personal change or leading
an organizational change,  the better skilled and equipped we are,
 the easier it will be.

Join us for this awesome learning event!

  About the Speaker

Kathie Scott, Founder and President of K. Scott and Associates, LLC, is an accomplished consulting and coaching professional with over 25 years of leadership and management experience. In 2014, she launched her own Organizational and Leadership practice; K. Scott and Associates, LLC.

Kathie believes the key to her success is that she is both a relationship builder and results focused. She authentically connects with others and focuses on understanding their needs. To meet those needs, Kathie applies a holistic and pragmatic approach to connect people, systems and processes to the strategy, mission and values of the organization. She collaborates with clients to determine and deliver customized high impact people solutions that build organization, team, and individual leader capabilities. Why high impact people solutions? Because businesses don’t get results, people do.

Kathie has a genuine passion and strong track record for coaching individual leaders (mid-level to C-Suite) and teams to achieve higher levels of performance, engagement and results. Kathie has also consulted and partnered with executive teams to establish enterprise leadership development strategies and competencies that supported business needs and were integrated throughout the organization.

She has led a wide variety of organizational change initiatives. To create sustainable change, she advocates and utilizes a balanced approach that focuses on both sides of change; the business side and the people side.

Kathie graduated from Pennsylvania State University and completed a Certification Program for Leadership and Organization Development through Linkage, Inc. and DePaul University. She is certified in numerous assessment tools such as MBTI, DISC and CCL’s 360 Instruments and is certified to deliver leadership training by AchieveGlobal, DDI and ELI, Inc.

She is a member of the Midlands Chapter of ATD. An engaging facilitator and speaker, Kathie regularly speaks at conferences and for professional organizations. Committed to "paying it forward," she volunteers with the South Carolina Girl Scouts of the Midlands as a member of the Gold Award Committee and serves as a Mentor at Columbia College, Columbia SC.

Originally from Pittsburgh PA, she lived for over 20 years in Annapolis MD and moved to Chapin SC in 2004.
