Neuroman and the Fight for Epic Engagement

“NeuroMan,” the mascot for sustained attention, will lead participants on a journey to understand the brain science behind adult learning. Science tells us that the release of dopamine increases attention and long-term retention.  This session will explore 3 areas in which participants will gain easy-to-implement strategies that support active engagement and learning.

  • Movement- Learn the importance of incorporating movement within a training session.  We will facilitate 1-2 quick activities that demonstrate how to get participants up and moving, even within a virtual environment.
  • Interaction - Demonstrate the value of interaction and how it leads to sustained attention and overall learning outcomes. We will model 1-2 quick activities that incorporate partner and small group work.
  • Reflection/Retention - Demonstrate the importance of reflection and assessment touch points throughout training programs.  We will model 1-2 brief activities that allow trainers to check learning progress.
